Pre Event Description :
The inaugural session of Chintan Baithak on Panchagavya was held on 12 July, 2019 at Conference Hall, College of Agriculture, JAU, Junagadh. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Junagadh Agricultural University Dr. A. R. Pathak was the Chairman, Goswamishri Kishorchandraji Maharajshri, Moti Haveli, Junagadh was the Chief Guest and Chairman of Rashtriy Kamdhenu Aayog Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiriya was the Special Guest of the function.
At the outset Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Coordinator of the Chintan Baithak and Director of Research, JAU, Junagadh, welcomed all the dignitaries by words followed by flower bouquet. The programme was started by lighting of lamp. Shri Suresh Davle, Coordinator of Govigyan Anusandhan Kendra, Nagpur gave introductory remarks about the chintan baithak. Dr. Vallabhbhai Kathiriya, Chairman of Rashtriy Kamdhenu Aayog gave information about activities carried out by the aayog. Vice Chancellor Dr. A. R. Pathak delivered presidential talk on cow-based formulations and objectives of this baithak. Goswamishri Kishorchandraji Maharajshri, Moti Haveli, Junagadh gave blessing speech to work for cow. He insist that now "indigenous cow" word should be replaced with "Kamdhenu". The session was ended with vote of thanks proposed by Dr. V. V. Rajani, Associate Director of Research.
In the technical sessions, 12 lectures were delivered by the delegates. At the end, plenary session was held in which thorough discussion was done and future plan of work was finalised.
