The 50 th anniversary of World Earth Day 2020 with the theme “Climateaction” was held on 22-04-2020 by Agro-met Field Unit-Srinagar, SKUAST-K, in
collaboration with NAHEP, SKUAST-K, Shalimar. It is for the first time in the history of Earth Day that the event was held virtually in stay –at –home mode amid social distancing
and lockdown orders to mark the importance of climate and climate change.
