Objective:
IPNI Cooperators' meet is a biennial event started in 2010 at Birsa Agricultural University in Ranchi. This meet offers IPNI cooperators in South Asia a unique opportunity to interact and discuss current research and future directions for advancing improved crop nutrient management in the South Asia region. IPNI is pleased to organize the 5th Cooperators' Meet 2018 in collaboration with Dr. PDKV, Akola in commemoration of its Golden Jubilee Year.

Indian agriculture has many challenges to maintain the sustainability in crop production. The inadequate supply of nutrients is one of the greatest challenges.Indian agriculture has many challenges to maintain the sustainability in crop production. the inadequate supply of the nutrients is one of the greatest challenges. the undernourishment of the crop producing multi nutrient deficiencies which resulted into heavy economical loss of the farmers and simultaneously remarkable damage to the soil health. the increasing gap in demand and supply of nutrients has put fourth the issue of soil and water degradation and lowering the farmers income. looking towards the need of the hour, the path is said to discuss future research and identify required strategies. the stalwarts and stakeholders have been invited to focus on the constraints and suggest appropriate solutions to bridge the gap in health nourishment of the soil-plant-human continuum. symposium has been planned in the following technical sessions.
